Maven Monday
Why do you think a Maven stands out in a crowd?

A Maven is not only smart and passionate about what they do, but they also focus on what’s ahead. They’re always looking to better themselves while encouraging other Mavens to grow with them.

What do you think is the most important consideration when designing experiences for people?

Think about who your audience is. Every group of people has different needs and in order to come up with an effective experience, a designer must take those needs into consideration.

How do you measure success?

Growth – the ability to take constructive criticism and use it as a way to better yourself and your work rather than take it as a negative.

What is the most challenging part of your role?

It’s a fast-paced world and technological practices are ever-changing. While that’s exciting, that requires the constant need to keep up with the times and engage yourself with new ways of thinking.

If you were a technology, which would you be?

An iPad Pro. I’m an old school, pencil and paper kind of gal so I like that I can be reminiscent of that, but a new age version.

Choose one word to describe yourself.

Bubbly – I’m generally upbeat and easygoing. I love making people smile and laugh even if I look silly doing it.
