Our people and our strong company culture are at the heart of everything we do at Maven Wave, and that starts with our leadership team. In our new leadership spotlight series, we will be sitting down with leaders from different areas of the company to learn more about their backgrounds, their roles within the organization, and what they enjoy outside of work.

For our pilot spotlight in this series, we spent some time getting to know John Cipolla, Head of Cloud Enterprise Solutions, North America & Emerging Markets at Maven Wave. Cipolla brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his position here — from IT and infrastructure outsourcing to running sales organizations and delivery groups across the globe. And if you ask him to list his main ingredients to solving complex client challenges, he’ll likely mention innovation, collaboration, and strong team culture.
According to Cipolla, that cultural element is critically important. As he puts it, “The people are the company, and the company brings out the best in the people.” Ultimately, a strong team culture culminates in meaningful work and an unwavering commitment to Maven Wave’s company values and, by extension, going above and beyond for our clients.
Cipolla also has an eye on the future of cloud and digital transformation, specifically in terms of advisory migration and managed services. It’s his mission to leverage Maven Wave and Atos’ robust service offerings and long-standing partnerships with cloud hyperscalers to place a decisive focus on helping clients innovate on top of what’s in the cloud. “With Maven Wave being part of the Atos family, that brings a whole new entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and collaboration around the cloud space,” Cipolla says.
In addition to learning about his vision for Maven Wave, we learned a little bit about the man himself. As a new Chicagoan, his love for the fast-paced city life fits in neatly with the chance to live closer to family.
