Leadership Spotlight: Jamie DiEugenio

Another month has come and gone, which means it’s time to shine a spotlight onto another outstanding Maven Wave leader. This month, we spoke with Jamie DiEugenio, Consulting Operations Director, about her experiences at Maven Wave thus far and learned a little more about the woman behind the many proverbial hats. Check out the full interview below!

Tell us a little about yourself.

Hi! I’m Jamie DiEugenio, and I have a couple of roles at Maven Wave: I’m the Chief of Staff to our CEO and lead an Operations team that covers Sales Ops/Enablement, Staffing, and most recently, Marketing. My team and I work closely with leaders across the organization to ensure they have the tools, systems, and data they need to be successful. I started my career in Sales and Client Success, so I also work to ensure our clients stay at the forefront of what we do.

What are the top highlights of your career so far?

Being part of high-growth organizations has been my favorite part of my career, and Maven Wave is no exception. We’ve been lucky to maintain 20%+ growth, even during a major acquisition and the COVID-19 pandemic.

What is your favorite part of working at Maven Wave?

The people! Maven Wave is the most collaborative organization I’ve ever been a part of. It’s exciting to work with colleagues who have a genuine curiosity and passion for what they do, are eager to support our internal culture, and drive results for our clients and partners.

What does company culture mean to you?

Company culture is a differentiator. It makes you go the extra mile and helps our day-to-day feel less like laying bricks and more like building a house. We recently started defining our culture around the Six C’s:

  1. Communication
  2. Community
  3. Compelling Work
  4. Career
  5. Complete Rewards
  6. Common Mission

I’m excited to see this initiative come to life as we continue to roll out new programs and enhancements to the employee experience.

What makes the work Maven Wave does meaningful?

Working with our clients on their digital transformation journeys is innately meaningful. We’re helping companies define their cloud strategies and optimize their business processes. I also find the work we do with our cloud partners exciting as we’ve developed a “better together” Go-to-Market strategy with several solutions that allow our clients to quickly deliver essential outcomes.

How do you see your team evolving to support Atos?

My team has been working closely with our Atos counterparts for the last 18 months, sharing our workflows, policies, and processes — and generally trying to understand and learn from each other’s approaches and successes. I expect that effort to increase as we work toward new levels of growth and market alignment with Atos OneCloud.

What goals do you have for your team for the remainder of this year? What are your long-term goals?

This year is flying by! Our current focus is successfully closing out Q4 and finalizing budgets and strategy for 2022. We have a lot of work to do with integrations for several exciting acquisitions and driving the Atos OneCloud initiative.

How would you describe your leadership style?

Our teams at Maven Wave have a lot coming at them right now, with organizational change, client demands, and the rapid innovation that happens in Cloud. So, I try to ensure my team knows their value in keeping our day-to-day operations running while also helping to drive and reinforce the vision and mission of Maven Wave and Atos.

What is something about you that always surprises people?

I think my occasionally obsessive nature can sometimes surprise people. Whether it’s a motive in a documentary I just watched or a data discrepancy in a report, I have a really hard time letting go of unanswered questions.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

With friends and family; my favorite places to hang out are by the water. It doesn’t matter if it’s a pool, lake, or beach — I’ll take what I can get! I also love to try new restaurants in the city (especially wine bars)!
