Maven Monday

Can you describe your role as a change management consultant?

My role as a Change Management consultant revolves around helping our clients get comfortable with transitioning to Google. We use a variety of resources, methods, and customization to meet our client’s needs.

Can you explain what your typical day is like at Maven Wave?

My typical day is usually spent talking with clients, learning about how the Google deployment is going, and then pivoting based on their feedback. Each deployment varies so much depending on the industry, company size, and ways of working that it’s really important for me to listen and build relationships with my clients.

What are the biggest challenges you face in your position?

One of the biggest challenges in my position is making sure to address all the different types of users going through a Google deployment. It can be really difficult to tailor a change effort to all the different departments, yet it’s also important to meet users where they are most comfortable. It can be challenging to find a balance.

What is your favorite part of working at Maven Wave?

I love the people at Maven Wave. I’ve found the people at Maven Wave are smart, easy to work with, and driven which makes my job so much easier every day.

What do you hope to accomplish in your role as a change management consultant?

I really hope that I make uncomfortable changes more comfortable for my end users. At the end of the day, these changes are going to be hard but there are ways to make it easier on everyone involved.
