2Q 2011 resulted in continued increase in spending on hardware and software from large enterprise companies. Most surprising was the 9.1% increase in spending on the IT workforce in 2Q.

This following the May launch of the Maven Wave Partners IT Spending & Investment Study released in March 2011 looking at the IT spending and investment habits of large enterprise companies.

Within this quarterly study, we'll be looking at both the Maven Wave Partners IT Investment Index (IT labor and hardware/software costs) and Maven Wave Partners IT Value Index (corporate profit divided by cost of IT labor).
