Google Apps Case Study: TalentRISE

Business Situation
TalentRISE, a talent management and recruitment consulting firm was faced with dual challenges of coordinating communications needs of a virtual workforce and outreach to job seekers to fill positions at client locations.  Since the world of recruiting has undergone a social media revolution, this latter challenge, in particular, drove the firm to investigate Google Apps.

The Deployment Approach
Once the decision was made to go Google, TalentRISE approached the Maven Wave team for technical support and training to ensure the deployment would be least distracting to its virtual staff, contractors, and the job seekers and clients it serves. This was accomplished via thorough but simplified training appropriately designed for each user group.  The project lasted less than 2 months and ultimately the migration from Microsoft BPOS to Google Apps occurred as a single cut-over migration without noticeable disruption to workflow or customer service.

The Partnership
Maven Wave advised and assisted in both the decision-making process to deploy Google Apps and in contracting with Google on behalf of the client’s leadership team. One concern TalentRISE initially expressed was its ability to access a variety of Applicant Tracking Systems used by its clients. Our team was able to identify potential challenges well ahead of implementation, ensuring the interfaces were compatible on day 1 of the rollout.  Maven Wave currently continues to provide ongoing support and maintenance services for TalentRISE’s Google Apps platform.
